Acrylic and Metal on Canvas
La Niña, la Niña oh glorious child of the eternally timeless pair of twins.
Coldness and warmth – contentious but united pair of siblings in the wind.
Quiet in peace, but wild when disputes are re-ignited
The wars for dominance, victory and power short-sighted.
La Niña, la Niña born in the thick of the fray,
The eye of the storm took your innocence away.
Savage child, you’re playing with powers of destruction,
So perhaps your deadly kiss carries the seeds of reconstruction.
